The International Association for Computer Information Systems is a nonprofit organization providing a forum for interpersonal networking and the sharing of research, teaching, and technical information through an annual International Conference, occasional special conferences such as IACIS Pacific 2005, Taipei, Taiwan, an annual scholarly publication—Issues in Information Systems, and a quarterly scholarly publication—The Journal of Computer Information Systems. The Association encourages membership from the international community of computer professionals and educators.

Fun Night Information

Fun Night this year will be held in an amazing history center: the Senator John Heinz History Center. Although we have provided some hints as to the types of interactive, family-oriented experiences in which you can participate while there, you will want to check out the History Center's website for yourself. We were very impressed with the variety of exhibits, the quantity and level of interactive experiences available for all ages, and the creative integration of technology throughout the History Center. Our short time in the History Center on Thursday evening will be a teaser for many IACIS participants, who may want to return later to spend many more hours exploring all that the Senator John Heinz History Center has to offer you.

And, of course, you will again be able to enjoy the plentiful food and engage in fruitful networking opportunities. Each year your end-of-conference feedback indicates the value of network and relationship building during Fun Night. This year you will have the same opportunities.
